A New Day: Living in 2 Worlds

Things at the Phippolphs here are good and confusing. Putting it out there for you all to read is a way to share this and get it spoken. It is a way to protectively put the info out there and say little more from this moment further. At present, the next few weeks are tricky. Some say "50%," then some say- "Its not gonna happen, think 20%". Statements such as this are all well intended and simply self preserving advice . They mean only good. However, to speculate on any chances and percentages is irrelevant.. None of us know what we are talking about and none of us can know any percentages. This is how this is confusing.
Over the next several days and weeks, we will be sitting on some wobbly fencing- claiming 2 lawns as quite possibly both our own. How to prepare for a new school year and how to plan for a family are of equal importance and urgency at this point and this is confusing. Where we will be and what to be ready for in the next several days requires a sense of letting go. Tonight, I let go. The only thing that I can be sure of is the present moment.
So, my conversations will be about the weather or something like the Jersey Shore for a few weeks. Sounds good and kinda mentally refreshing. All this while I plan for inservicing, professional developments, first days of school AND at the same time plan and be asked to make decisions for the first day of motherhood, legal papers, and visiting hours! All of this while I hire my long term sub who might start the school year, might work for a day, or might not come in at all. Craziness and what a wild ride!
Hey, how about that beautiful weather today? I like the 70's and low humidity. Do you?

70s is perfect weather.
Just want to remind ya'll that you have a huge extended family of support waiting/wanting to help in anyway possible. And so much love and positive vibes aimed in your direction. Please don't hesitate to ask for anything that may make this teeter totter time go easier and more quickly. Even if it is telling us to stick to talking about the weather.
70 and overcast here in Portland today. Love you both.
