The weather has changed and our moods, routine, have also. It is no secret that the wintertime gets a bit long, encourages addictions for me and Noah (think Vodka, beer, wine, or overeating comforting foods). However, with this past week of beauty, we have hit our stride! Throw in a green dinner for St Patrick's Day and all is god. It's super, actually. I am thrilled. A few weeks ago, I lost my confidence and didn't feel good about my ability to read Natalia. After a basic "meltdown" and watching Noah take over for the entire weekend, I learned many a thing, and found my way. Natalia and I have had a great week and we have been able to welcome Papa home with warm weather before bath walks, going out together, and being calm happy and content. This is terrific.
Today is Saturday. Chores first then followed by lunch. Lunch led to a walk in the woods/forest preserve and now Noah paints and I ponder how to get the contest winning essay for Dave Grohl's Garage Tour visit. Check it out www.foofighter.com. It has been a great Saturday and with bath time to follow, the hopes are that it stays that way.
