Rain Rain Go Away and Come Back.... NEVER!

Ever wear your husband's oldest pair of boxers, neon green rubber shows, yellow latex gloves, and a foo fighters t-shirt? Today is my day to do just that as we/I are on major bleach out patrol.
So yesterday started with a broken P on our keyboard and then a round of less than stellar tennis. Followed by an earthquake felt on our deck, green beautiful clouds, to a tornado, and then a flooding of the basement. Not more than ankle deep at its deepest, however, my greatest homeowner fear water and mildew and mold and stink.
So, we were up late sopping it all up and trying to get an additional sump pump our way, just in case. Thanks, Doug. Then finished with a great appreciation for family and friends who chipped in researching places for dry wall restoration and sump pump assistance. Thanks, Dad and thanks, Doug! It may now appear less crises-ish than it truly was, but then again, this is my biggest homeowner fear.
We managed to save the couch and the Noah's artwork, but out with some pretty good stuff. Actually found that the back storage closet will now make a great space for Beihl when he "arrrives"- if, he arrives!
