You've been Bupinated!

You know you're desperate to get it right when you go to the PetsMart to get a crate to retrain you dog and remove anxiety. You read and read and practice and practice, yet you make mistakes. I tactfully use the second person, to make us feel less responsible. Anyhow, upon getting the new, right sized crate, we meet Will, the PetsMart employee we are now in love with. Within 30 seconds, Bup turned into super dog, butter slab perfect. She was a total and complete dream boat. We signed up immediately and will be joining WIll and his class starting next week. Our classmates are about 12 years old and don't do their dog training homework. We overheard Will saying to the kids, "Now, if you don't do your training homework, Rosco won't ever get it". We're gonna do our homework and we can't wait! Several years ago it was Salsa Dancing Date night, now its gonna be Dog Training Date night. Love it.
Bup reminded us of the power of positive reinforcement and I couldn't help but mental note something..... my little buddy and Jen's not so BFF has been a real challenge. We are now doing the Bupination approach- positive reinforcement. By no means is the not so BFF an animal or equivalent to one, but he definitely needs positive reinforcement. So hey everybody, have a sticker and, if your are a dog, have a bacon bitz bite. It's all good. It's all good.
