Recently, we had the pleasure of visiting with one of our favorite 2 year olds- Maya. She is a crawling master and a cutie pie of no comparison. We really like her. We really like her parents, also- but that goes without saying. We learned about Pingo the Penguin in our last TV viewing session together and we were hooked. Inspired by wacked out clayanimation. So whacked out that when we found Maya, let me repeat, who is 2, left her penguin hat- I couldn't have been more thrilled. I have been wearing it everywhere as all our adult hats have been lost. Granted, this hat is pretty perfect, so even if I had my adult hats, the penguin hat would be perched on my head with pride. Sometimes I forget I am wearing the penguin hat and get strange looks from others, and I miff my face, like the photo and blurt out a raucous, "WHAT?!" Then I remember the hat. Anyhow, Maya will want her hat back soon, but its not going to her this weekend. I still am in love with it and my 2 year old friend who is sharing her clothes with me.
