Last year we had our gutters redon and downspouts attached new from our friend, Veet (see August 2008 for his photo). Anyhow, we saved the aluminum for a rainy day and are now skimping for change to fund our croissants every morning in Paris. Yum... but 6.50- later, we only earned a half croissant. Bummer! However, the Cicero Aluminum Recycling Center is totally fascinating- no joke. They had everything from engine parts and copper piping to thermostat insides.
