The Garden as It Stands Now

I have become obsessed with gardens- not that I wasn't in earlier years, but now.... the plot is SOOOOO much bigger.
I am putting my past years' creations to shame although I am sure last years masterpiece is still thriving over there on Washtenaw. Sometimes I still do miss the Chi city enough to aim for the book deal, the lottery, and that house on the Chicago River. I am pleased and excited about my being published in the teacher mag and find that if that is the beginning of a next step, I will take it. Doug and I were able to toast over some lattes on the back porch this evening (really, just him and ice cream cones, but lattes sound nice) as we marveled at fun stuff, congratualed Jenine land two terrific commissions today. Fun stuff and go Adam on American Idol. I think it is a Slambert Dunk!
